It’s not the initial occurrence where individuals claiming to represent the United States of Kailasa have misled leaders on the global stage.
A Paraguayan government official was replaced after it came to light that he had signed a memorandum of understanding with representatives from a fictional country associated with a fugitive Indian guru. It appears that these representatives deceived several local officials in the South American country.
The revelation triggered a scandal, accompanied by widespread social media mockery in Paraguay. However, this isn’t the first instance of self-proclaimed representatives from the United States of Kailasa deceiving global leaders. Earlier this year, they successfully participated in a committee meeting at the United Nations in Geneva and even forged agreements with local authorities in the United States and Canada.

Arnaldo Chamorro was promptly replaced as the chief of staff for Paraguay’s Agriculture Ministry on Wednesday. This move followed the disclosure that he had signed a “proclamation” with representatives from the United States of Kailasa.
The “proclamation,” dated October 16, included a “sincere wish and recommendation for the government of Paraguay to consider, explore, and actively pursue the establishment of diplomatic relations with the United States of Kailasa.” It also urged support for the admission of the United States of Kailasa as a sovereign and independent state in various international organizations, including, among others, the United Nations. A copy of the agreement was shared on social media.
Representatives from the fictional nation engaged in discussions with Carlos Giménez, the Minister of Chamorro and Agriculture, as revealed in a radio interview with Chamorro.
In the course of the conversation, Chamorro admitted his lack of knowledge regarding the location of Kailasa and mentioned that he had endorsed what he termed a “memorandum of understanding.” He clarified that the agreement was made because Kailasa had offered assistance to Paraguay on various fronts, particularly in the realm of irrigation.
Photographs shared on Kailasa’s social media platforms also depicted representatives of the imaginary country formalizing agreements with local leaders from the María Antonia and Karpai municipalities. These signings were enthusiastically celebrated on the social media account.
The website of Kailasa describes the fictional country as the “resurgence of the ancient enlightened Hindu civilizational nation,” undergoing revival through the efforts of displaced Hindus from across the globe.
A self-proclaimed leader, Nithyananda, heads an organization called the United States of Kailasa, facing multiple charges, including sexual assault, and currently, his location remains unknown in India.
According to media reports, representatives from the United States of Kailasa attended two United Nations committee meetings in Geneva in February.
In March, Newark City Hall in New Jersey admitted to being deceived after entering into a sister city agreement with Kailasa.
