The 69th edition of the Filmfare Awards, one of the oldest in the Hindi film industry, is scheduled to take place on January 27 and 28 in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
The nominations for this edition were revealed recently, with the film “Animal,” featuring Ranbir Kapoor, receiving 19 nominations. Shah Rukh Khan secured two Best Actor nominations for his roles in “Jawan” and “Dunki” this year.
The film “12th Fail,” despite being a low-budget production, has garnered widespread love and also earned multiple nominations in significant categories for the 2024 Filmfare Awards.
The Salaar Part 1 Ceasefire Box Office Collection on Day 25 for Prabhas’ film remains strong, earning ₹404.45 crore in India. Filmmaker and director Karan Johar will return as the host for the 69th Filmfare Awards after a three-year hiatus. Johar expressed, “I am back as a host after three years. I don’t consider myself the best in anything that I do; I think we are all creative artists striving for excellence,” according to PTI.
The two-day awards event will feature performances by actors Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kartik Aaryan, Sara Ali Khan, Varun Dhawan, and Jahnvi Kapoor.
