K-Pop sensation Aoora, who joined Bigg Boss 17 as a wildcard contestant two weeks ago, was recently eliminated from the show. In the latest episode, upon hearing his eviction announced by host Salman Khan, Aoora unexpectedly burst into laughter, surprising both the host and fellow contestants. He proceeded to embrace each contestant and expressed gratitude to host Salman Khan for the opportunity.
Aoora also expressed, “India is like a second home to me, Jai Hindi.”
Throughout his journey, Aoora faced conflicts with Ayesha Khan, expressing discomfort around her due to an incident where she kissed him. He found camaraderie with Arun Mashetty, his translator in the house, and also formed connections with Chintu (Samarth Jurel), Abhishek Kumar, Munawar Faruqui, Mannara Chopra, and Ankita Lokhande. Known for his ever-changing hair colors, the K-pop sensation kept switching up his look in every episode.
In a particularly emotional moment, Aoora couldn’t grasp Anurag Dobhal’s joke, leading to tears. Ankita Lokhande embraced and comforted him, providing solace.
Making waves in India, Aoora garnered attention for his unique rendition of Bappi Lahiri’s classic song, “Jimmy Jimmy,” from the 1982 blockbuster film “Disco Dancer,” starring Mithun Chakraborty.
For those unfamiliar, Aoora was a member of the South Korean boy band Double-A and its subunit Aoora & Hoik. He made his debut on September 4, 2009, with the song “Love Back.”
In a special episode featuring Bollywood actress Tabu, fans were thrilled to witness Abhishek Kumar dancing with Tabu, while Mannara serenaded the actress with a song during various tasks conducted by Tabu, who served as the special guest.
