Bigg Boss 17 has become a hit among viewers due to its unique concept and a diverse group of participants. One contestant, Munawar Faruqui, has particularly captured the audience’s attention and is considered a fan favorite. While praised for his strategic gameplay, he has also faced scrutiny for his friendship with Mannara Chopra.
In the latest update, Munawar has emerged as the first captain in the Bigg Boss house.
The housemates recently underwent their first captaincy task, which involved the introduction of a vulture into the house. Upon hearing the vulture’s sound, three contestants had to promptly approach and feed it meat.
The task proceeded in rounds, and those who placed the meat first were given the chance to eliminate others from the captaincy competition. According to reports from The Khabri’s X account, Munawar Faruqui and Mannara Chopra were the last two contenders, with Munawar ultimately winning the captaincy task.

The comedian recently made some surprising revelations about his personal life on the show. He disclosed to Aishwarya Sharma, Mannara Chopra, and Arun Mashettey that his mother took her own life when he was 14 years old.
Munawar shared that after his mother’s death, he moved to Mumbai with his father and started working at a utensil store. He got married soon after and had a son within a year.
Discussing his ex-wife, Munawar revealed that he wasn’t aware she had remarried. He mentioned, “When I called Mikhail (his son) home after 10-15 days, I found out that she had already gotten married. I called Mikhail’s nana to confirm, and it turned out that Mikhail was with me, and she had married and moved to another city.
” When Aishwarya asked if his son was close to his mother, Munawar stated, “They both were not attached.” He emphasized that anger can damage relationships, and his home was no exception.
