Fighter features Anil Kapoor, Akshay Oberoi, and Karan Singh Grover. The film is directed by Siddharth Anand, who also directed Pathaan.
Hrithik Roshan portrays the character Squadron Leader Patty in the film Fighter.
The trailer for Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone’s upcoming film “Fighter” is scheduled to be released on January 15.
The movie is slated to hit theaters a day before Republic Day and has been identified as IMDb’s most anticipated film of 2024. Additionally, check out the party track “Sher Khul Gaye” from the film, featuring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone—it’s a certified banger.
On Saturday, Hrithik shared a new Fighter poster on Instagram, accompanied by the Sujlam Suflam song. In his caption, he announced, “Prepared to unveil. #FighterTrailer on 15th January at 12:00 PM IST. #Fighter Forever #FighterOn25thJan releasing globally. Witness it on the large screen in IMAX 3D.”
Fighter is being celebrated as India’s most significant aerial-action drama, marking Siddharth Anand’s return exactly a year after his blockbuster film, Pathaan. Deepika Padukone is a common thread in both movies and will be paired with Hrithik for the first time.
The film promises to be a high-energy action spectacle, narrating a story that pays tribute to the unwavering spirit of our IAF officers who safeguard our skies and defend the nation. Shot primarily at Indian air force bases using real Sukhois and Indian fighter planes, the movie has generated substantial anticipation.
The Fighter teaser, unveiled last year, introduced the audience to the lead cast: Hrithik as Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania, also known as Patty, Deepika Padukone as Squadron Leader Minal Rathore, aka Minni, and Anil Kapoor as Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh, aka Rocky.
The teaser showcased the cast in exhilarating aerial stunts aboard their jets and included a glimpse of a kissing scene between Hrithik and Deepika. Ending on a high note, the teaser featured the tune of Sujlam Suflam in the background as Hrithik unfurled a tricolor from his aircraft.
Siddharth Anand recently commented on the release of the track “Heer Aasmani” from the film, which follows an Air Force Pilot theme. Anand stated, “Heer Aasmani is dedicated to the special Squad of Air Dragons uniting. The song depicts the camaraderie among the crew, both during briefings and training sessions, as well as during their leisure time.
The essence of Heer Aasmani revolves around an Air Force Pilot expressing unwavering love for the skies and their profound passion—a love so pure that it is nearly incomprehensible to those on the ground.”
