Apple will probably reveal two fresh MacBook Pro laptops and a new iMac during the Scary Fast event scheduled for 5:30 am on Monday.
Apple is all geared up to introduce a lineup of new high-end products at its eagerly anticipated Scary Fast event on Monday. The event’s moniker is a nod to its spooky timing, coinciding with Halloween Eve in many parts of the world. Apple is set to launch the MacBook Pro laptops and a host of other exciting releases.
Remarkably, this year marks the 25th anniversary of the iMac, one of the first products Steve Jobs unveiled upon his return to Apple in the late 1990s. The original Mac, originally named the Macintosh, made its debut in early 1984.
Want to know when, where, and how to tune in to the Scary Fast event? You can catch the Scary Fast event live on the Apple Events website and YouTube, starting at 5:30 am in India. Apple TV users can also watch the event live on their iPhones, iPads, and Macs by heading to the dedicated Scary Fast section.

Anticipated Launches:
- iMac: Apple is set to update the iMac, breaking a long hiatus of over 900 days. However, the new models won’t bring a radically different design. Similar to recent MacBook Pros, the forthcoming iMacs are expected to closely resemble the current versions. The upcoming 24-inch iMac, known internally as J433 and J434, will undergo internal design enhancements and feature an updated stand.
- New MacBook Pro: During the Scary Fast event, Apple is poised to reveal two new MacBook Pros with the codenames J514 and J516. These laptops will be powered by the M3 Pro and M3 Max processors. Apple is reportedly experimenting with different versions of the 12-core M3 Pro processor, which includes six high-performance cores and six efficiency cores. There’s another M3 Pro variant with 14 primary cores, comprising 10 high-performance cores, 4 efficiency cores, and 20 graphics cores. Additionally, a high-end M3 Max chipset could include 16 primary cores, featuring 12 high-performance cores, 4 efficiency cores, and 40 graphics cores. Apple also plans to offer upgraded RAM options, including 24GB and 48GB variants.
- Updated USB-C Accessories: In line with the broader shift toward USB-C connections, Apple is expected to introduce refreshed versions of accessories like the trackpad, mouse, and keyboard. Notably, these accessories will no longer include the old Lightning ports.
