Selection Process:
Written Test:
- The first step involves an 80-question multiple-choice written test lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes.
- Each correct answer earns one mark, but be cautious as there is a deduction of -0.33 marks for incorrect answers.
Skill Test:
- This phase holds a total of 100 marks.
- To pass, candidates must secure a minimum of 32 marks out of 80 in the written test and 50 marks out of 100 in the skill test.
- Shortlisting for the skill test will be in a 1:5 ratio based on performance in the written test.
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST candidates: 5 years
- OBC candidates: 3 years
Note: Additional relaxation is applicable for Ex-Servicemen, persons with Benchmark Disabilities, Central Govt employees, and meritorious sportspersons, as per Government of India Orders.
Salary Range:
As per the ISRO job advertisement, technicians in Level 3 can expect a salary between Rs. 21,700 and Rs. 69,100.
