Poco India’s leader, Himanshu Tandon, hinted at the introduction of the Poco X6 smartphone lineup in India through a post with a Christmas theme.
The lineup is anticipated to consist of the Poco X6 and Poco X6 Pro, featuring rebranded editions of the Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi K70e.
The Redmi K70e is anticipated to be released globally under the name Poco X6 Pro.
Poco, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has provided a glimpse of its upcoming Poco X6 5G smartphone series set to debut in India. The teaser was shared by Poco India’s head, Himanshu Tandon, in a recent X post, embracing the festive Christmas spirit.
In a post on X (previously Twitter), Himanshu Tandon hinted at the imminent launch of the Poco X6 5G series, stating, “Wishing you all a Merry Xmas! Santa will be delivering a special gift very soon.”

The lineup is expected to include two models: the Poco X6 5G and the slightly pricier Poco X6 Pro 5G. Reports suggest that the Poco X6 may be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 13 Pro, while the Poco X6 Pro could be based on the Redmi K70e.
According to Gizmochina, the Poco X6 5G is anticipated to sport a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 1.5k resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is likely to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The mid-range smartphone is expected to feature a 64MP primary sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP additional sensor for its camera setup.
In a recent report, MySmartPrice mentioned that the Poco X6 Pro 5G has been spotted on certification websites like NBTC, BIS, and FCC. The report indicates that the global launch of the Poco X6 Pro 5G, including in India, is anticipated by the end of January.
