The Samsung Galaxy S24 series might be released on January 17.
Samsung is expected to introduce its flagship Galaxy S24 lineup at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event on January 17.
The lineup may include the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra, with potential sales in key regions before the month’s end. Pre-orders are anticipated to commence shortly after the event, and leaked information from South Korean blogger Naver suggests enticing perks for early buyers.
As per the Naver post, Samsung plans to provide a storage upgrade for all pre-ordered Galaxy S24 devices. This means customers who have purchased the 512GB version will receive a 1TB storage variant of the same smartphone. Similar offers were reportedly seen with the Galaxy S22 and S23 series.
The Galaxy S24 might be available in 128GB and 256GB variants, while the Galaxy S24+ could offer 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options, according to a Sammobile report.
Although specific details are not provided, Naver’s blog post hints at additional perks, including discounts on the Galaxy Buds FE and Galaxy Watch when pre-ordering the Galaxy S24 series.
In recent leaks on X (formerly Twitter), details about the Galaxy S24 series have surfaced. Notably, the “Generative Edit” feature has been highlighted in marketing materials. Described as a tool to effortlessly remove unwanted elements from photos, this feature draws comparisons to Google’s Magic Eraser tool in the Pixel 8 series, known for its ability to erase unwanted objects from photos, requiring Google Photos backup and an internet connection.
