Malayalam actress Renjusha Menon was discovered deceased in her apartment in Thiruvananthapuram on Monday morning. The 35-year-old actress was found hanging in her residence, which she shared with her husband, Manoj, who is also an actor. Certain reports suggest that she was experiencing financial difficulties prior to her demise. While the initial assessment points to suicide, officials are actively examining the circumstances surrounding her passing. The body will undergo an autopsy at a later time.

As per local reports, the actress, originally from Kochi, commenced her career as a television show host before delving into TV serials. Her introduction to the small screen occurred with the serial ‘Sthree,’ and she later appeared in various other projects.
She gained recognition for her supporting roles in numerous television shows and films, such as ‘City of God,’ ‘Marykkundoru Kunjaadu,’ ‘Bombay March,’ ‘Karyasthan,’ ‘One Way Ticket,’ ‘Athbhutha Dweepu,’ and more. These roles made her a familiar face in households and elevated her to stardom.
Furthermore, she took on producing roles in various serials. Besides her acting and producing, Ms. Menon was also a proficient Bharatanatyam dancer. She is survived by her father C G Ravindranath and mother Umadevi.
