Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh Oath Ceremony LIVE Updates: Mohan Yadav, accompanied by his deputies Jagdish Devda and Rajendra Shukla, was sworn in today.
Vishnu Deo Sai is set to be sworn in as the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh in Raipur. Alongside him, Vijay Sharma and Arun Sao will take the oath as deputy CMs.
Meanwhile, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma is scheduled to take oath on December 15.

Vishnu Deo Sai, the Chief Minister-elect of Chhattisgarh, offered prayers at the Ram Temple. Notable leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, JP Nadda, and Shivraj Singh Chouhan, attended the ceremony. Governor Mangubhai C. Patel administered the oath of office to the BJP leaders.
As per the Chhattisgarh public relations department’s official statement, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be present in Raipur for Sai’s oath ceremony. Other dignitaries, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP President JP Nadda, Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, BJP’s state in-charge Om Mathur, and CMs from other states, are also expected to attend.
With the BJP revealing their unconventional CM choices, speculation now surrounds the allocation of cabinet berths, likely to be addressed during today’s swearing-in events in the two states.
The swearing-in ceremony of Chhattisgarh’s Chief Minister is scheduled for 4 pm today at Raipur’s Science College Ground, expecting an attendance of over 50,000 people. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to arrive at the venue shortly.
Security has been intensified at the Raipur venue due to the presence of senior leaders and CMs from other states. Approximately 1000 police personnel have been deployed for security. Different sections have been designated for seating special guests, media personnel, and the general public.

Former Chhattisgarh CM Raman Singh conveyed his congratulations to the incoming Chief Minister, Vishnu Deo Sai, ahead of the oath-taking ceremony on Wednesday. Singh praised Sai’s many years of experience, previous roles as a central minister, and his clean image.
