In the game on Sunday night, the Baltimore Ravens faced the challenge of filling the void left by the injured tight end Mark Andrews in the red zone. The rookie first-round pick, Zay Flowers, seemed to step up to the task.
During the second quarter, Lamar Jackson orchestrated a 12-play, 78-yard drive, culminating in a touchdown pass to wide receiver Zay Flowers in the back of the end zone. This marked Flowers’ second career touchdown and gave Baltimore a 7-3 lead.
Typically relying on Andrews, who led NFL tight ends with six touchdowns this season, Jackson had to adjust after Andrews was placed on injured reserve due to ankle surgery.
