The Mumbai police officer was discovered hiding eight illegal drug capsules in his underwear Prison.
A constable linked to Mumbai police Central Prison has been fired from his job for reportedly being in possession of 71 grams of marijuana while on duty, as per an official. Constable Vivendra Naik was purportedly apprehended with marijuana last Friday, concealing eight capsules of the prohibited drug in his undergarments.
According to an official, Naik was allegedly smuggling marijuana for a prisoner. An FIR was lodged against him at N M Joshi Marg police station.

Following the incident, the Assistant Director General (ADG) of Prisons terminated the constable from their position, as stated by an official.
